WATCHING DONALD TRUMP dancing like the Tarot’s Fool towards geopolitical disaster set me thinking. Is this where the West has ended up? With all its hopes and dreams stuffed into the Fool’s leather satchel and dangling from the end of his staff? Risking ruin with every step as America’s demented President gambols along the edge of the precipice and the rest of the West gambles that he, and they, will not fall?
